Subsequently, and based on the advantages or disadvantages that these mechanisms may show, the author analyzes the characteristics that a merger control mechanism should have for it the be implemented in Perú our country. Existen tantos mecanismos de control de concentraciones como jurisdicciones hay, cada uno de ellos con sus propias fortalezas y particularidades. Esta variedad puede ser aprovechada para analizar la efectividad de las técnicas regulatorias aplicadas en distintos ordenamientos, y poder así evaluar su aplicación en el ámbito local.En el presente artículo, el autor hace un repaso por algunos de los principales aspectos en los cuales difieren los mecanismos de control de concentraciones.Posteriormente, y a partir de las ventajas y desventajas que estos presentan, se analizan las características que debería tener un eventual sistema de control de concentraciones en el Perú.
